2024 Election Guide

YOUR 2024 BALLOT

What Your Party Stands For

Welcome undecided voters! Here is a simple guide to help you understand what each political party stands for on the key issues.

OVERVIEW

Republican - The purposes of government are to establish justice, ensure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty for ourselves and our posterity. The freedoms and liberties of individuals are critical. A person is free to believe any stupid thing he wishes, and the government should have a limited role in influencing social norms except for those which are a violation of the law.

Democrat - The U.S. Constitution is generally good but needs a little help. Of particular concern are the parts about individual liberties. Because people are not very smart, in the absence of guidance they will believe incorrect and stupid things, which is undesirable. Additionally, ignorant people tend to turn to religion for guidance, and that is unacceptable. A key purpose of government is to establish and encourage correct thinking, and government should be involved in every aspect of society as necessary to do so.

ABORTION

Republican - Generally against it except in very, very rare instances of rape, incest, and unusual pregnancies that threaten the life of the mother. If necessary, it must be done early in the pregnancy. Each state should decide how they handle abortion.

Democrat - Very much for it without any meaningful qualifications of any kind. The slogan, "My body, my choice", means that women should be able to poison, dismember, extract, and incinerate pre-born human beings from within their bodies for any reason, and at virtually any point in a pregnancy. It should be allowed in every state.

CRIME

Republican - Favors a "traditional" approach to crime. For example, looting, burning police cars, vandalizing cities, stealing goods off a store's shelves, and selling crack are considered criminal offenses. Police are absolutely necessary, and criminals are to be sent to prison.

Democrat - Believe that many existing laws are discriminatory and should be ignored. Theft of goods from large corporations, especially those owned by white people, is a fair re-distribution of wealth, not a crime. Laws preventing persons from camping on a downtown street and defecating on the sidewalk may be ignored at the discretion of local officials. Police are a necessary evil and are to be permitted in the most minimalist manner.

EDUCATION

Republican - Government schools should focus on subjects that enable children to be useful and productive members of society, and better enable us to compete in a world economy. Traditional subjects such as math, science, reading, writing, and technology are key. Schools must be held accountable for their students' performance in these subjects. Schools should recognize that education of children is a coordinated exercise between parents and government.

Democrat - The chief goal of government education is to shape society, and the most important subject at present is sexuality. It is of critical importance for children to understand that historical beliefs regarding sexuality are incorrect. All children are wards of the government, and the government is solely responsible for determining what they are taught. Parents' opinions and feedback are obstacles to proper education.

GENDER

Republican - A person's gender is most accurately defined by DNA. Men have XY chromosomes and women have XX chromosomes. In the absence of the ability to check a person's DNA, men are the ones with penises and women are the ones with vaginas. Men are generally larger, and stronger, than women. A person with a penis who thinks that he is a woman, and seeks to bear children, is not of sound mind.

Democrat - DNA and sexual organs or irrelevant in defining gender. An individual's beliefs about their gender are the only relevant factor. A person's beliefs may change at any time - especially with kids. If a person (even a minor) determines that his/her/its gender is incorrect, he/she/it has the right to take medications, or the right to surgically alter their body, to better reflect this belief. The government should pay gender-change expenses, and everyone should affirm the person's gender identity for the good of the nation.

HOMOSEXUALITY

Republican - Homosexuality has existed in human society for thousands of years, though as a relatively small percentage of the population. People should be free to choose homosexuality and, if so, should not be subject to discrimination or persecution. Homosexuality is not, of itself, a desirable quality of an individual any more so than is heterosexuality.

Democrat - Homosexuality is a desirable quality and is a de-facto qualification for government and education positions. Homosexuality is to be encouraged. It is important for all Americans to not only accept homosexuality, but to celebrate homosexuality. Children should be aggressively taught in school, at the earliest possible age, to consider homosexuality as a desirable option.

IMMIGRATION

Republican - We should allow as many people in the country as WE choose, and subject to our terms. Those who wish to come must be vetted to confirm they meet standards for entry. These standards should exclude criminals, gang members, and terrorists. If an immigrant violates our conditions for admission, they are to be deported.

Democrat - Immigration is necessary to supplement a declining birth rate caused by increased homosexuality. Anyone who wants to come is welcome without vetting or terms. Immigration should be encouraged by government incentives.

INCOME TAXES

Republican - A graduated tax rate system ensures that everyone pays a fair, proportionate share of their income in taxes. Those who make more money, pay more in taxes - both in real terms and as a percentage of income. Those who make less money, pay less in taxes. The poor in this country pay very little in taxes and many don't pay anything at all. That's good.

Democrat - A graduated tax rate system is inadequate in calculating a person's "fair share" of taxes. All rich people pay far less than their "fair share", regardless of what they pay. The "rich" are defined as persons who are not paid in W-2 income - mainly anyone who owns a business and provides employment to others. Such rich persons must pay more in taxes as a matter of principal because employment of others is fundamentally unfair. The fact that the poor pay a lower percentage of their income in tax, or pay no tax at all, is irrelevant.

RACISM

Republican - Our nation has taken great strides in eliminating racism, but there's always room for improvement. The racism of the 50's and 60's is gone, and such overt racism is now extremely rare. However, racism can, and does, occur. When it does, it must be dealt with appropriately. Racism is a matter of the heart, and anyone may be guilty.

Democrat - Racism is rampant everywhere and the problem is exclusively with white people. White people are racists by their very nature. To be white, is to be racist. There are millions of white people in this country who are ignorant of this fact and foolishly believe they are not racists. Social, economic, and judicial systems are permeated with racism to which whites are blind. We need to work much harder at making them aware of this. Victims of white racism are deserving of compensation for what they are suffering, and have suffered, from in the past. This compensation may take many forms.
